Description
Subtract eligibleConversions from reportedDenominator for gap, requiring both values nonnegative.
Marketing rates compare a counted outcome with a declared cohort or exposure base. Reentries, exclusions, and distinct funnel stages can change the denominator substantially.
Subtract eligibleConversions from reportedDenominator for gap, requiring both values nonnegative.
When to use this tool
Use Channel Cost Denominator Gap when you need a transparent cohort or exposure ratio.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter reportedDenominator, eligibleConversions. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read gap. Use the output convention below.

| eligibleConversions | Eligible Conversions | Required. Finite number; minimum 0. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| gap | Signed difference under the stated subtraction order. | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- No equality tolerance or cost-per-conversion value is calculated; the two counts must already describe a comparable cohort.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
