Lead Stage Reentry Denominator Tool

Choose episode-entry versus first-entry denominator explicitly; conversions are independently supplied counts.

Description

Use firstEntries plus optional reentries as denominator and divide conversions by it.

Marketing rates compare a counted outcome with a declared cohort or exposure base. Reentries, exclusions, and distinct funnel stages can change the denominator substantially.

Use firstEntries plus optional reentries as denominator and divide conversions by it.

When to use this tool

Use Lead Stage Reentry Denominator when you need a transparent cohort or exposure ratio.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter firstEntries, reentries, conversions, countReentries. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read denominator, conversionShare. Use the output convention below.

Limitations and assumptions

  • Conversions are not capped by the denominator, so shares above one are allowed; person-level deduplication and cohort alignment are external decisions.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Reconcile event definitions, attribution windows, and deduplication against the source analytics before comparing rates.
