Description
Scale sculpture model volume by the cube of a supplied linear enlargement ratio.
Artwork dimensions depend on whether a measurement describes the image, support, window, overlap or reserved edge. Linear enlargement multiplies area by the square and volume by the cube of the scale. A signed clearance or width adjustment retains useful direction information, while a nominal geometric fit still needs material, production and installation context.

When to use this tool
Use Sculpture Model To Full Scale Volume when you already have modelVolume, fullSizePerModelLengthRatio and need to scale sculpture model volume by the cube of a supplied linear enlargement ratio.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter modelVolume, fullSizePerModelLengthRatio. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read fullSizeVolume. Use the output convention below.
Require modelVolume>=0 and fullSizePerModelLengthRatio>0; return modelVolume*ratio³.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| modelVolume | Model Volume | Required. Finite number; minimum 0. |
| fullSizePerModelLengthRatio | Full-size length/model length, dimensionless; volume scales by its cube. | Required. Finite number; strictly above 0. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| fullSizeVolume | Full Size Volume | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Assumes geometrically similar shapes and a consistent volume unit; no structural strength, mass or fabrication feasibility is assessed.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Check an actual dimensioned layout or calibrated test piece for mounting and production. Use a geometric model for full enlargement or overlap accounting, and physical drawdowns or material tests when thickness behavior matters.
