Client Transport Voucher Remaining Value

Compare explicit transport voucher and redemption values in the same currency without deciding service eligibility.

Description

Calculate remaining transport-voucher value and flag over-redemption.

Support records distinguish a person's stated preferences from eligibility decisions, service delivery and permission to disclose data. A normalized goal weight describes a declared weighting system, while a voucher or referral time margin describes supplied bookkeeping. Labels and display masks do not establish safety, valid consent, appropriate priority or actual entitlement.

Calculate remaining transport-voucher value and flag over-redemption.

When to use this tool

Use Client Transport Voucher Remaining Value when you already have voucherValue, redeemedValue and need to calculate remaining transport-voucher value and flag over-redemption.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter voucherValue, redeemedValue. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read remainingValue, overRedemption. Inspect overRedemption before interpreting the associated values.

Require nonnegative voucher and redeemed values; return voucher-redeemed and redeemed>voucher.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Negative balances are retained; actual voucher terms, eligibility and reimbursable travel are not checked.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review the person's recorded preferences, governing service criteria and actual referral or voucher records. For disclosure, apply the relevant access controls to the underlying data rather than treating a display mask or recorded permission flag as the whole process.
