Agency Performance Response Time Exclusion Tool

Calculate agency performance response time exclusion from explicit caller-supplied inputs.

Description

Subtract excludedHours from elapsedHours for countedHours, return margin=suppliedTarget-countedHours, and within for inclusive target comparison.

An administrative calculation applies supplied clocks, fees, exclusions, roles, and document conditions. Numeric consistency and an explicit condition match can be useful record checks. They do not select the governing authority, verify evidence, or establish legal rights and obligations.

Subtract excludedHours from elapsedHours for countedHours, return margin=suppliedTarget-countedHours, and within for inclusive target comparison.

When to use this tool

Use Agency Performance Response Time Exclusion when you need a supplied administrative fee, clock, role, document, or accounting calculation before checking its substantive basis.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter elapsedHours, excludedHours, suppliedTarget. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read countedHours, margin, within. Inspect within before interpreting the associated values.

Subtract excludedHours from elapsedHours for countedHours, return margin=suppliedTarget-countedHours, and within for inclusive target comparison. Require feasible nonnegative exclusions and target.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • The exclusion and target are supplied rules. This does not inspect service records, calculate business hours, assess response quality, or establish legal timeliness.
  • The field tables state structural bounds; the mechanics also specify cross-field constraints. Malformed inputs and unsupported domains cause errors. A successful false flag, empty branch value, or zero placeholder has the meaning stated above and is distinct from an input error.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Signed zero is exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Consult the applicable authoritative rule and verify source records before deciding fees, authority, deadlines, or obligations. Keep a supplied scenario calculation separate from that evidence review.
