Description
Shift over only the explicit holiday dates in the selected direction; weekends are not implicitly excluded.
An administrative calculation applies supplied clocks, fees, exclusions, roles, and document conditions. Numeric consistency and an explicit condition match can be useful record checks. They do not select the governing authority, verify evidence, or establish legal rights and obligations.
Shift over only the explicit holiday dates in the selected direction; weekends are not implicitly excluded.
When to use this tool
Use Administrative Deadline Supplied Holiday Shift when you need a supplied administrative fee, clock, role, document, or accounting calculation before checking its substantive basis.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter date, holidays, forward. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read adjusted, shiftedDays. Use the output convention below.
Parse exact valid date and holiday strings. Move one UTC calendar day forward or backward while the current date occurs in the supplied holiday set, then return adjusted and signed shiftedDays.1

} Limitations and assumptions
- Only listed holidays are skipped; weekends are not implicit. Four-digit date limits apply, and this does not choose a jurisdiction, official calendar, or legally valid deadline adjustment.
- The field tables state structural bounds; the mechanics also specify cross-field constraints. Malformed inputs and unsupported domains cause errors. A successful false flag, empty branch value, or zero placeholder has the meaning stated above and is distinct from an input error.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Signed zero is exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Consult the applicable authoritative rule and verify source records before deciding fees, authority, deadlines, or obligations. Keep a supplied scenario calculation separate from that evidence review.
