Description
Label a legislator's recorded attendance or paired-absence status.
Election and representation summaries depend on counting conventions: included ballots, quotas, seat totals, strict majority and source-defined statuses. A half-seat rule differs from an official quorum or certified result. Supplied counts and denominators support transparent arithmetic while legal rules, ballot validity and representativeness require separate evidence.
Label a legislator's recorded attendance or paired-absence status.
When to use this tool
Use Legislative Vote Paired Absence Label when you already have memberRecordId, recordedStatus and need to label a legislator's recorded attendance or paired-absence status.
How to use the tool and how it works

- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.

{
"input": {
"memberRecordId": "M17",
"recordedStatus": "paired-absence"
},
"output": {
"label": "M17 [paired-absence]"
}
} Limitations and assumptions
- No attendance, pairing agreement, voting effect or official legislative record is verified.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Consult the governing count procedure and official source records for actual ballot treatment, quotas and majority rules. Reconcile all relevant ballots or seats before extending one share or surplus factor to a complete election or representation result.
