Description
Label a ballot record's supplied overvote, undervote, valid or unresolved code.
Election and representation summaries depend on counting conventions: included ballots, quotas, seat totals, strict majority and source-defined statuses. A half-seat rule differs from an official quorum or certified result. Supplied counts and denominators support transparent arithmetic while legal rules, ballot validity and representativeness require separate evidence.
Label a ballot record's supplied overvote, undervote, valid or unresolved code.

"input": {
"ballotRecordId": "B17",
"recordedCode": "undervote"
},
"output": {

} Limitations and assumptions
- No ballot is inspected, votes counted or official validity established.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Consult the governing count procedure and official source records for actual ballot treatment, quotas and majority rules. Reconcile all relevant ballots or seats before extending one share or surplus factor to a complete election or representation result.
