Physiotherapy Rest Interval Gap

Compare explicit exercise-set endpoints without recommending a rest duration.

Loading tool…

Description

Measure a signed rest interval or overlap between recorded exercise sets.

Rehabilitation records separate client priorities, scheduled attendance, assistance codes, video coordinates and exercise logs. A missed scheduled visit differs from an unscheduled day, and a frame timestamp assumes a frame-rate model. Local counts or offsets do not evaluate movement quality, recovery, safe exercise or appropriate care.

Measure a signed rest interval or overlap between recorded exercise sets.

When to use this tool

Use Physiotherapy Rest Interval Gap when you already have previousSetEndSeconds, nextSetStartSeconds and need to measure a signed rest interval or overlap between recorded exercise sets.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter previousSetEndSeconds, nextSetStartSeconds. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read signedRestSeconds, overlap. Inspect overlap before interpreting the associated values.

Return nextSetStartSeconds-previousSetEndSeconds; overlap means nextStart<previousEnd.1

previousSetEndSecondsPrevious Set End SecondsRequired. Finite number.
nextSetStartSecondsNext Set Start SecondsRequired. Finite number.

signedRestSecondsSigned Rest SecondsRequired. Finite number.

Limitations and assumptions

  • No exercise, recovery interval, physical capacity or treatment plan is selected.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review the actual attendance schedule, movement recording and stated outcome instrument. For timing, use acquisition timestamps when frame rate varies; keep client priorities and exercise logs separate from a validated assessment of recovery.
