Exercise Stage Relative Time

Reference a supplied event time to an explicit exercise-stage start without classifying exercise intensity.

Description

Measure an event's signed time from an exercise-stage start.

Rehabilitation records separate client priorities, scheduled attendance, assistance codes, video coordinates and exercise logs. A missed scheduled visit differs from an unscheduled day, and a frame timestamp assumes a frame-rate model. Local counts or offsets do not evaluate movement quality, recovery, safe exercise or appropriate care.

Measure an event's signed time from an exercise-stage start.

When to use this tool

Use Exercise Stage Relative Time when you already have eventSeconds, stageStartSeconds and need to measure an event's signed time from an exercise-stage start.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter eventSeconds, stageStartSeconds. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read stageRelativeSeconds, beforeStage. Inspect beforeStage before interpreting the associated values.

Return eventSeconds-stageStartSeconds and flag event<stageStart as beforeStage.1

Input fieldMeaning and unitsAccepted input
eventSecondsEvent SecondsRequired. Finite number.
stageStartSecondsStage Start SecondsRequired. Finite number.
Output fieldInterpretationReturned shape
stageRelativeSecondsStage Relative SecondsRequired. Finite number.
beforeStageBefore StageRequired. Boolean.

Limitations and assumptions

  • Timestamps share a supplied epoch; no stage, exercise intensity, response or care recommendation is inferred.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review the actual attendance schedule, movement recording and stated outcome instrument. For timing, use acquisition timestamps when frame rate varies; keep client priorities and exercise logs separate from a validated assessment of recovery.
