PD Ceiling Floor Censoring Label

Label an explicitly recorded response censoring category without modifying a measured value.

Loading tool…

Description

Label a supplied floor/ceiling censoring convention.

Assay records separate concentration/effect units, control references, censoring and model parameters. An occupied/free complement assumes one common exhaustive total, while a control ratio is not automatically a percentage effect. Labels and local scalar operations do not fit a response model or establish potency, drug efficacy or an appropriate medication choice.

Label a supplied floor/ceiling censoring convention.

When to use this tool

Use PD Ceiling Floor Censoring Label when you already have recordId, censoring and need to label a supplied floor/ceiling censoring convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter recordId, censoring. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read label. Use the output convention below.

Require recordId nonempty and censoring none, floor, ceiling, both or unspecified; format ID [censoring].1

Limitations and assumptions

  • No censoring boundary, latent value, endpoint validity or pharmacological effect is inferred.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use the full assay controls, measurement units and response-model definition when estimating an effect. Fit or evaluate the intended concentration-response relationship explicitly; a control ratio, complement or parameter label does not infer that relationship.
