PD Endpoint Coding Source

Qualify an explicit endpoint code by its coding source without selecting an endpoint definition.

Description

Qualify an explicit endpoint code by its coding source.

Assay records separate concentration/effect units, control references, censoring and model parameters. An occupied/free complement assumes one common exhaustive total, while a control ratio is not automatically a percentage effect. Labels and local scalar operations do not fit a response model or establish potency, drug efficacy or an appropriate medication choice.

Qualify an explicit endpoint code by its coding source.

When to use this tool

Use PD Endpoint Coding Source when you already have endpointId, endpointCode, codeSource and need to qualify an explicit endpoint code by its coding source.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter endpointId, endpointCode, codeSource. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read token. Use the output convention below.

Enter endpointId, endpointCode, codeSource using the field constraints below. Encode these values, in exactly that order, as a JSON array and return the serialized array as text in token. String values are preserved without trimming or external terminology lookup.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • The result records supplied values without selecting an endpoint definition. Sources and asserted relationships are not independently authenticated.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use the full assay controls, measurement units and response-model definition when estimating an effect. Fit or evaluate the intended concentration-response relationship explicitly; a control ratio, complement or parameter label does not infer that relationship.
