How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter positive, negative, unexamined, excluded, includeUnexamined. Use the units and conventions below.

- Read denominator, observedShare, unexaminedShare. Use the output convention below.
For nonnegative integer positive, negative, unexamined, and excluded require positive+negative>0. Return denominator=positive+negative plus unexamined only if includeUnexamined, observedShare=positive/denominator, and unexaminedShare=unexamined/(positive+negative+unexamined+excluded).1

}Limitations and assumptions
- Excluded never enters observedShare's denominator but always enters the unexamined-share base. These reporting conventions do not infer outcomes for unexamined sites or diagnose disease.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Signed zero is exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use the intended examination or measurement protocol with verified site identities and source records. Broader interpretation requires actual observations and appropriate measurement properties beyond one token or ratio.
