Description
Multiply nonnegative leakage by positive resistance for drop and subtract it from nonnegative supply for voltage.
A resistive voltage drop follows current times resistance in a simple static model. Device leakage, input thresholds, and transient behavior can make a real circuit more complex.
Multiply nonnegative leakage by positive resistance for drop and subtract it from nonnegative supply for voltage.
When to use this tool
Use GPIO Pullup Leakage Static Gap when you need a supplied static current-resistance voltage term.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter supply, leakage, resistance. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read voltage, drop. Use the output convention below.

} Limitations and assumptions
- Use amperes, ohms, and volts consistently; negative computed voltage is not clamped and nonlinear leakage or input thresholds are omitted.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use worst-case device specifications and a circuit model that includes nonlinear and transient behavior.
