Description
Invert level when activeLow is true; otherwise retain it.
An electrical level and a logical assertion are different concepts. Active-low signals invert that relationship, while an undriven open-drain node needs a pull-up to establish high.
Invert level when activeLow is true; otherwise retain it.
When to use this tool
Use GPIO Pullup Active Level Label when you need a simple GPIO polarity or ideal state interpretation.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter level, activeLow. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read active, label. Inspect active before interpreting the associated values.
Invert level when activeLow is true; otherwise retain it. Return active and the corresponding active/inactive label.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| level | Level | Required. Boolean. |
| activeLow | Active Low | Required. Boolean. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| active | Active | Required. Boolean. |
| label | Label | Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |

"output": {

}
} Limitations and assumptions
- Only logical polarity is mapped; pull-up presence, electrical validity, and debounce are not assessed.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Check electrical thresholds, pull resistors, timing, and the device's configured mode for the actual circuit.
