Description
Return logicalAsserted when electricalHigh differs from activeLow.
An electrical level and a logical assertion are different concepts. Active-low signals invert that relationship, while an undriven open-drain node needs a pull-up to establish high.
Return logicalAsserted when electricalHigh differs from activeLow.
When to use this tool
Use Microcontroller: GPIO Active Low Logical Value when you need a simple GPIO polarity or ideal state interpretation.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter electricalHigh, activeLow. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read result. Expand result to inspect the returned fields.
Return logicalAsserted when electricalHigh differs from activeLow.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| electricalHigh | Electrical High | Required. Boolean. |
| activeLow | Active Low | Required. Boolean. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| result | Result | Required. Object. |
| result.logicalAsserted | Logical Asserted | Calculated result member: boolean. |

"input": {

"output": {

} Limitations and assumptions
- This Boolean polarity mapping does not establish a valid voltage level or safe device state.
- Outputs are nested inside result. Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Check electrical thresholds, pull resistors, timing, and the device's configured mode for the actual circuit.
