Description
Intersect each pair and count true jointSupport entries.
Support indicators describe which recorded observations meet stated completeness or eligibility conditions. Duration-weighted support and distinct-record support use different denominators.
Intersect each pair and count true jointSupport entries.
When to use this tool
Use Metric Normalizer Support Intersection when you need a transparent supported fraction from supplied flags.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter metricSupport, normalizerSupport. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read jointSupport, includedCount. Use the output convention below.
Require aligned Boolean metricSupport and normalizerSupport arrays. Intersect each pair and count true jointSupport entries.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |

| normalizerSupport | Normalizer Support | Required. Array of boolean; maximum items 256. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| jointSupport | Joint Support | Required. Array of boolean; maximum items 256. |
| includedCount | Included Count | Required. Safe integer. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- This checks support metadata only; it does not compute either metric or confirm that the chosen normalizer is appropriate.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Inspect missing and excluded records separately and verify the evidence behind each support flag.
