Description
Compare each channel signal with its threshold using either inclusive or strict equality handling.
Immune-assay data can contain raw signals, blanks, gated event counts, dilution labels, and research thresholds. Their units and denominators differ, and arithmetic on supplied values is separate from assay validation or clinical interpretation.
Compare each channel signal with its threshold using either inclusive or strict equality handling.
When to use this tool
Use Flow Gate Boolean Two Channel Membership when you need one transparent research-assay calculation or event-accounting check.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter firstSignal, secondSignal, firstThreshold, secondThreshold, equalityPositive. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read firstPositive, secondPositive, quadrant. Inspect firstPositive, secondPositive before interpreting the associated values.
Compare each channel signal with its threshold using either inclusive or strict equality handling. Return both positivity flags and their double-positive, first-only, second-only, or double-negative quadrant.1

} Limitations and assumptions
- Thresholds are caller supplied; no compensation, gating strategy, diagnostic interpretation, or instrument calibration is performed.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
