Compensation Row Support Gap Tool

Inspect missing channel support for an explicit compensation row without estimating spillover or interpreting immunity.

Description

Count required channels and their missing measurements, and sum absolute coefficients for every unmeasured channel.

Immune-assay data can contain raw signals, blanks, gated event counts, dilution labels, and research thresholds. Their units and denominators differ, and arithmetic on supplied values is separate from assay validation or clinical interpretation.

Count required channels and their missing measurements, and sum absolute coefficients for every unmeasured channel.

When to use this tool

Use Compensation Row Support Gap when you need one transparent research-assay calculation or event-accounting check.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter coefficients, channelMeasured, requiredSupport. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read requiredChannels, missingRequiredChannels, unsupportedCoefficientMass. Use the output convention below.

Require aligned coefficients, channelMeasured, and requiredSupport. Count required channels and their missing measurements, and sum absolute coefficients for every unmeasured channel.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Unsupported coefficient mass includes unmeasured channels even when requiredSupport is false; this checks supplied support metadata without computing a compensation result.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
