GLP Study Personnel Role Window Tool

Audit explicit study-personnel authorization records.

Description

Independently test personId in authorizedPeople, role in authorizedRoles, and eventDay inside the inclusive window.

Laboratory study records distinguish observations, sample identities, personnel, and supporting sources. Missingness and duplication depend on record scope; a metadata check cannot establish scientific validity or regulatory acceptance.

Independently test personId in authorizedPeople, role in authorizedRoles, and eventDay inside the inclusive window.

When to use this tool

Use GLP Study Personnel Role Window when you need a laboratory-record consistency or source-support check.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter personId, authorizedPeople, role, authorizedRoles, eventDay, startDay, endDay. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read personListed, roleListed, timeListed. Inspect personListed, roleListed, timeListed before interpreting the associated values.

Require ordered start and end days. Independently test personId in authorizedPeople, role in authorizedRoles, and eventDay inside the inclusive window.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Separate membership lists do not bind a particular person to a role; identities, authorization, training, signatures, and regulatory compliance are not verified.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review the controlled study records and audit trail for the complete evidentiary chain. Resolve duplicate identifiers, sampling units, and authorization rules before drawing study-level conclusions.
