Description
Apply rate to max(0,prepayment-exemption).
Financial accounting arithmetic tracks amounts, balances, fees and allocations on a declared currency and sign basis. An algebraically consistent result does not authorize a transaction or establish an amount legally due.
Apply rate to max(0,prepayment-exemption).
When to use this tool
Use Prepayment Fee Exempt Amount Term when you need a specified monetary balance or allocation calculation.
How to use the tool and how it works

} Limitations and assumptions
- Rate is a fraction and the exemption is a supplied monetary allowance. The tool does not establish whether a fee is permitted or owed under a loan agreement.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
