Description
Return distinct studies with jointly reported comparator, baseline and outcome fields.
Health-research records connect study identifiers, source assertions, outcome labels and timing conventions. A coverage count, literal match or recorded interval can expose missing information, while the quality of evidence, actual blinding and treatment effectiveness still require assessment of the original study.
Return distinct studies with jointly reported comparator, baseline and outcome fields.
When to use this tool
Use Research Comparator Support Share when checking a supplied study-record, evidence-support or timing convention.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter studyIds, comparatorReported, baselineReported, outcomeReported. Follow any array-alignment requirements below. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read studies, fullySupportedStudies, share, defined. Inspect defined before interpreting the associated values.
Return distinct studies with jointly reported comparator, baseline and outcome fields. Require aligned arrays; any row having all three flags can support its study ID, and share divides supported distinct IDs by all IDs or is zero with defined false.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| studyIds | Study Ids | Required. Array of text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192; maximum items 256. |
| comparatorReported | Comparator Reported | Required. Array of boolean; maximum items 256. |
| baselineReported | Baseline Reported | Required. Array of boolean; maximum items 256. |
| outcomeReported | Outcome Reported | Required. Array of boolean; maximum items 256. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| studies | Studies | Required. Safe integer. |
| fullySupportedStudies | Distinct study IDs with at least one row jointly reporting all three required flags. | Required. Safe integer. |
| share | Dimensionless numerator/denominator ratio under the explicit basis above. | Required. Finite number. |
| defined | Reporting flag under the explicit denominator or information policy above; inspect any zero placeholder or policy-defined value. | Required. Boolean. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Flags are assertions and duplicate rows can differ; coverage does not establish valid trial design or treatment efficacy.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Read the original research and registration records, appraise study design and bias, and consult qualified health professionals for conclusions that affect care.
