Description
Return ECG amplitude after zero removal and inverse gain.
Cardiac measurement formulas depend on geometry, units, calibration and reference origins. A Doppler projection correction, echo disc-volume contribution or waveform integral evaluates supplied quantities without validating image acquisition, signal quality or physiological interpretation.
Return ECG amplitude after zero removal and inverse gain.
When to use this tool
Use ECG Lead Gain Factor when checking one supplied cardiac measurement, geometry or calibration term.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter recordedAmplitude, gain, zeroOffset. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read calibratedAmplitude. Use the output convention below.
Return ECG amplitude after zero removal and inverse gain. Require gain > 0; calibratedAmplitude = (recordedAmplitude-zeroOffset)/gain.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| recordedAmplitude | Recorded Amplitude | Required. Finite number. |
| gain | Gain | Required. Finite number; strictly above 0. |
| zeroOffset | Zero Offset | Required. Finite number. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| calibratedAmplitude | Calibrated Amplitude | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Gain is recorded units per calibrated unit; calibration, lead identity and actual waveform or diagnostic meaning are not verified.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use validated acquisition and calibration, a complete appropriate measurement method and qualified clinical interpretation; assess measurement uncertainty and model assumptions separately.
