Description
Measure a supplied monitoring date's signed reference-date offset.
Remediation record terms depend on sample identities, concentration bases, timing and quality-control conventions. Relative duplicate gap is a fraction with a specified denominator, while signed readings can be accepted without being physically meaningful. Local calculations do not establish contaminant removal, environmental safety or an effective treatment.
Measure a supplied monitoring date's signed reference-date offset.
When to use this tool
Use Remediation Monitor Date Offset when you already have referenceDate, monitoringDate and need to measure a supplied monitoring date's signed reference-date offset.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter referenceDate, monitoringDate. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read signedCalendarDays. Use the output convention below.
Parse real UTC dates; return monitoringDate-referenceDate in days.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| referenceDate | Reference Date | Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. Real proleptic Gregorian YYYY-MM-DD; four-digit years 0000-9999 accepted. |
| monitoringDate | Monitoring Date | Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. Real proleptic Gregorian YYYY-MM-DD; four-digit years 0000-9999 accepted. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| signedCalendarDays | Signed Calendar Days | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- No monitoring, environmental condition, compliance interval, remediation progress or safe site is verified.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Review original laboratory and field records with the complete sampling, calibration and remediation assessment. Check detection limits, units and applicable quality criteria before interpreting a local comparison or supplied process record.
