Description
Return raw and sensor-offset-corrected fish/plant temperature gaps.
Aquaponic balances distinguish wet feed, dry matter, nutrient mass, concentration and water volume. A balance term can expose changes or losses without identifying nutrient availability, biological conversion or a suitable supplement dose. Each mass fraction must be attached to its stated material basis.
Return raw and sensor-offset-corrected fish/plant temperature gaps.
When to use this tool
Use Aquaponic Temperature Channel Offset Gap when checking the stated aquaponic material, nutrient or measurement basis.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter fishReading, plantReading, fishOffset, plantOffset. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read correctedGap, rawGap. Use the output convention below.
Return raw and sensor-offset-corrected fish/plant temperature gaps. raw = fishReading-plantReading, corrected = fishReading-fishOffset-plantReading+plantOffset.1

} Limitations and assumptions
- All readings/offsets need compatible degree sizes; no actual calibration, suitable species temperature or safe system condition is determined.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use calibrated measurements and a complete system nutrient/water balance with qualified professional interpretation for actual management.
