Description
Require nonnegative sourceAmount, positive blendTotal/conversion factor and nonempty source/target basis and provenance labels.
Nutrient labels can report elements, oxide equivalents or fractions on wet, dry or anhydrous material bases. Stoichiometric conversion requires a verified chemical identity and the correct factor direction. A supplied source label and numerical factor record assumptions rather than proving the underlying chemical definition.
Require nonnegative sourceAmount, positive blendTotal/conversion factor and nonempty source/target basis and provenance labels.
When to use this tool
Use Fertilizer Elemental Oxide Share when checking the stated nutrient, moisture or elemental-equivalent convention.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter sourceAmount, verifiedConversionFactor, blendTotal, sourceBasis, targetBasis, verifiedSource. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read convertedAmount, share, source. Use the output convention below.
Require nonnegative sourceAmount, positive blendTotal/conversion factor and nonempty source/target basis and provenance labels. Require converted amount<=blend total; return converted amount, share and the supplied source label.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| sourceAmount | Source Amount | Required. Finite number; minimum 0. |
| verifiedConversionFactor | Positive caller-verified target/source amount multiplier; no chemical factor is inferred. | Required. Finite number; strictly above 0. |
| blendTotal | Blend Total | Required. Finite number; strictly above 0. |
| sourceBasis | Source Basis | Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| targetBasis | Target Basis | Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| verifiedSource | Nonempty supplied provenance label, not independently verified. | Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| convertedAmount | Converted Amount | Required. Finite number. |
| share | Dimensionless share using the operation-specific denominator stated above; not a percentage number. | Required. Finite number. |
| source | Caller-supplied source label, not independently authenticated. | Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Names such as verifiedSource record caller evidence; the tool does not authenticate that evidence or derive a chemical conversion.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Check the original label, analytical method and authoritative chemical definition before applying a conversion or comparing nutrient quantities.
