Description

Calculate supplied field-day subgroup attendee share.

Extension records distinguish participant groups, recognition credits, demonstration labels, communication intervals and source editions. A credited-hour product is a supplied recognition convention rather than assessed competence. Copy shortfalls and access-format labels do not establish actual distribution, usability or learning outcomes.

Calculate supplied field-day subgroup attendee share.

When to use this tool

Use Field Day Attendee Portion when you already have subgroupAttendees, totalAttendees and need to calculate supplied field-day subgroup attendee share.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter subgroupAttendees, totalAttendees. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read attendeeFraction, otherAttendees. Use the output convention below.

Require positive safe totalAttendees and safe subgroup within [0,total]; return subgroup/total and total-subgroup.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • The group definition and attendance are supplied. No participant identity, representativeness, accessibility or event outcome is assessed.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use original session, participant, material, source and feedback records with the complete outreach evaluation. Check access and context before interpreting local counts or labels as effective advice or suitable educational support.
