Demonstration Input Cost Per Participant Tool

Calculate demonstration input cost per participant from explicit caller-supplied inputs.

Loading tool…

Description

Return input+fixed-refunded and divide by participants.

Extension-training comparisons depend on score ranges, credit weights, unit factors, plot support and cost bases. A normalized difference or area-scaled harvest describes supplied records rather than proving learning, causal adoption or an agronomic effect. Caller-chosen factors need separate justification.

Return input+fixed-refunded and divide by participants.

When to use this tool

Use Demonstration Input Cost Per Participant when checking the stated training, credit, demonstration-plot, unit or cost convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter inputCost, fixedCost, participants, refunded. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read netCost, perParticipant. Use the output convention below.

Require whole participants>=1 and nonnegative input/fixed/refunded amounts. Return input+fixed-refunded and divide by participants.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Refunds may exceed costs, leaving a negative balance; participant identity and reimbursement eligibility are not verified.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use verified representative observations and appropriate complete educational, statistical or budget analysis for substantive training, agricultural or funding decisions.
