Description
Subtract excludedCharges from saleSubtotal and multiply commissionableBase by commissionFraction in [0, 1].
Advertising cost metrics use different bases: impressions, clicks, sales, and elapsed campaign time. A conversion between them is meaningful only when the population, charging basis, and currency match.
Subtract excludedCharges from saleSubtotal and multiply commissionableBase by commissionFraction in [0, 1].
When to use this tool
Use Affiliate Sale Commission Base when you need one explicit campaign-cost component from supplied rates and counts.

} Limitations and assumptions
- Excluded charges cannot exceed subtotal; all amounts share one currency and the supplied exclusions do not establish contractual commission rights or tax treatment.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Reconcile the calculation with actual delivery records, billing terms, and the complete campaign budget.
