Description
Apply taxRate to base plus supplement only when supplementTaxable, then add the full supplement and tax to base.
Hospitality charges depend on the unit of service, inclusion rules, deposits, commissions, and tax bases. Operation order can change an amount, while arithmetic alone does not establish contract terms or liability.
Apply taxRate to base plus supplement only when supplementTaxable, then add the full supplement and tax to base.

} Limitations and assumptions
- TaxRate is a fraction, not a percent; amounts share currency and the flag does not select legally applicable tax treatment or monetary rounding.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Reconcile the result with booking terms, actual invoice rules, taxes, and monetary rounding.
