Description
Count target-task occurrences, excluding supervised rows unless includeSupervised=true; return max(0,required-count).
Adult-learning budgets allocate supplied time, observations, support hours and optional participation. Elapsed session time differs from assessor person-time or serial per-learner time. A completeness count or feasible time balance does not itself assess competence, accessibility or learning quality.
Count target-task occurrences, excluding supervised rows unless includeSupervised=true; return max(0,required-count).
When to use this tool
Use Vocational Logbook Task Repetition Count when checking the stated adult-learning time, participation, resource or support-allocation convention.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter tasks, supervised, targetTask, includeSupervised, required. Follow any array-alignment requirements below. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read count, remaining. Use the output convention below.
Require aligned task labels/supervised flags and whole required>=0. Count target-task occurrences, excluding supervised rows unless includeSupervised=true; return max(0,required-count).1

| supervised | Supervised | Required. Array of boolean; maximum items 256. |
| targetTask | Target Task | Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| includeSupervised | Include Supervised | Required. Boolean. |
| required | Required | Required. Safe integer; minimum 0. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| count | Count | Required. Safe integer. |
| remaining | Signed or clamped remainder under the exact convention specified above. | Required. Safe integer. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Repeated records are counted as supplied; a count does not demonstrate competence, valid supervision or qualification completion.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
