Description
Explicit incomplete research collection bounds, without estimating an unknown spill or a physiological volume.
A research diary or bench measurement uses a defined observation window, clock, unit, and reference level. Missing timing, incomplete collection, and unverified measurements affect how a result can be interpreted. Record arithmetic and signal terms describe supplied data without establishing clinical status.

When to use this tool
Use Bladder Diary Incomplete Collection Bound when you need a research-record or bench calculation with already supplied measurements, units, and observation boundaries.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter measuredVolume, knownSpillVolume, maximumUnmeasuredVolume. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read minimumTotal, maximumTotal, intervalWidth. Use the output convention below.
Return minimumTotal=measuredVolume+knownSpillVolume, maximumTotal=minimumTotal+maximumUnmeasuredVolume, and intervalWidth=maximumUnmeasuredVolume. Require all three input volumes nonnegative.1

| maximumUnmeasuredVolume | Maximum Unmeasured Volume | Required. Finite number; minimum 0. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| minimumTotal | Minimum Total | Required. Finite number. |
| maximumTotal | Maximum Total | Required. Finite number. |
| intervalWidth | Interval Width | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- The bound assumes the supplied maximum covers all remaining unmeasured volume. It is not a confidence interval, a reconstructed physiological output, or a clinical assessment of collection completeness.
- The field tables state structural bounds; the mechanics also specify cross-field constraints. Malformed inputs and unsupported domains cause errors. A successful false flag, empty branch value, or zero placeholder has the meaning stated above and is distinct from an input error.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Signed zero is exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use an appropriately validated measurement and analysis method for clinical interpretation. Verify diary completeness, clock conventions, and measurement units before combining these terms into a research summary.
