Description
Return maximum minus measured for each margin and withinAllLimits when every margin is nonnegative.
Travel budgets combine amounts that must share a currency and a clear charging basis. A calculated tip or ticket charge is an arithmetic estimate under supplied assumptions, not a statement of what a provider will collect.
Return maximum minus measured for each margin and withinAllLimits when every margin is nonnegative.
When to use this tool
Use Luggage Dimension Limit Margin when you need a small travel-cost calculation using known amounts and a stated rate or band.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter measuredDimensions, maximumDimensions. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read margins, withinAllLimits. Inspect withinAllLimits before interpreting the associated values.
Require aligned nonempty nonnegative measuredDimensions and maximumDimensions. Return maximum minus measured for each margin and withinAllLimits when every margin is nonnegative.1

} Limitations and assumptions
- Dimension order must already align; rotation, weight, combined-dimension rules, and carrier-specific acceptance are not assessed.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
