Wig Measurement Coverage

Audit wig measurement coverage.

Description

A wig measurement checklist compares required measurement labels with recorded labels.

A wig measurement checklist compares required measurement labels with recorded labels. Label coverage is distinct from the accuracy or completeness of the numeric measurements themselves.1

Audit wig measurement coverage.

When to use Wig Measurement Coverage

Use this tool to audit wig measurement coverage.

Prepare the measurements or record lists for the intended production, performer, cohort or planning period. Confirm units, shared time/coordinate conventions and supplied targets.

How to use Wig Measurement Coverage and understand its results

  1. Prepare the measurements or record lists for the intended production, performer, cohort or planning period. Confirm units, shared time/coordinate conventions and supplied targets.
  2. Enter requiredMeasurements, recordedMeasurements using the field table and calculation rules, then run the tool.
  3. Read coveragePercent, matched, missing, unexpected. The explanation below defines the units, signs, ordering and any flags or placeholder values.
  4. If the tool reports an input issue, correct the values and run it again. Apply the stated assumptions when interpreting a successfully returned result.
Input fieldMeaningValue type; see rules belowRequirement

recordedMeasurementsRecorded measurementslist of stringRequired

Enter required and recorded label lists. Trim every label, match case-insensitively using en-US lowercase and deduplicate; blank entries are errors. Require at least one distinct requirement. Return matched, missing, unexpected and coverage. Preserve first-key ordering while duplicate normalized labels retain their last trimmed display spelling. An empty recorded list is allowed.

Units, indexing, boundary conditions and exceptional cases are defined in the calculation rules above.

Limitations and assumptions

The tool does not inspect numeric measurements, fit a wig or validate which measurements should be required. Spelling differences beyond case/outer whitespace remain different items.

Numeric inputs must be finite. Follow the calculation-specific rules for overflow, underflow and exceptional cases. Lists are limited to 100,000 entries; the rules above may require smaller limits. Missing required fields, extra fields, wrong value types and violations of the calculation rules are input errors.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use Wig Ventilation Hours: Estimate custom wig ventilation hours with preparation and contingency. For a complementary task, use Understudy Cover Matrix: Compare caller-supplied expected and observed records for understudy cover matrix.
