Fight-Beat Continuity
Reconcile scripted and rehearsed fight-beat identifiers.
Description
Fight-beat identifiers connect scripted actions with rehearsed records.
Fight-beat identifiers connect scripted actions with rehearsed records. Reconciliation can locate omissions and duplicate script labels before reviewing choreography itself.1
Reconcile scripted and rehearsed fight-beat identifiers.
When to use Fight-Beat Continuity
Use this tool to reconcile scripted and rehearsed fight-beat identifiers.
Prepare production measurements or checklist records for one planning period. Confirm units, staffing assumptions and caller-selected criteria before running the calculation.
How to use Fight-Beat Continuity and understand its results
- Prepare production measurements or checklist records for one planning period. Confirm units, staffing assumptions and caller-selected criteria before running the calculation.
- Enter scriptBeatIds, rehearsedBeatIds using the field table and calculation rules, then run the tool.
- Read missingRehearsedBeats, unexpectedRehearsedBeats, duplicateScriptBeats, continuous. The explanation below defines the units, signs, ordering and any flags or placeholder values.
- If the tool reports an input issue, correct the values and run it again. Apply the stated assumptions when interpreting a successfully returned result.
| Input field | Meaning | Value type; see rules below | Requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| scriptBeatIds | Script fight-beat IDs | list of string | Required |
| rehearsedBeatIds | Rehearsed fight-beat IDs | list of string | Required |
Enter script/rehearsal ID lists. Trim, lowercase and discard blanks, then compare distinct sets in first-occurrence order. Return missing and unexpected normalized IDs, unique duplicate script IDs and a continuity flag. Two empty normalized sets pass.
continuous=no missing beats AND no unexpected beats AND no duplicate scripted beats Units, indexing, boundary conditions and exceptional cases are defined in the calculation rules above.
| Output field | Meaning | Value type |
|---|---|---|
| missingRehearsedBeats | Script beats not rehearsed | list of string |
| unexpectedRehearsedBeats | Rehearsed beats not scripted | list of string |
| duplicateScriptBeats | Duplicate script beat IDs | list of string |
| continuous | Beat sequence reconciles | boolean |

} Limitations and assumptions
Rehearsal duplicates do not make the flag fail. Beat ordering, technique, performer competence and choreography safety are not examined.
Numeric inputs must be finite. Follow the calculation-specific rules for overflow, underflow and exceptional cases. Lists are limited to 100,000 entries; the rules above may require smaller limits. Missing required fields, extra fields, wrong value types and violations of the calculation rules are input errors. A successfully returned false flag is an evaluated outcome; its meaning is explained above.
