Description
Track supplied consent-review scheduling metadata without deciding consent validity or extension authority.
Support-service records distinguish appointments, action times, review windows, consent annotations, and allocation of shared resources. A supplied flag or time margin can support bookkeeping while case evidence, professional judgment, and applicable obligations remain separate.
Track supplied consent-review scheduling metadata without deciding consent validity or extension authority.
When to use this tool
Use Consent Review Window Remainder when you need one explicit service-record, clock, consent-annotation, or resource-allocation check.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter reviewDue, currentTime, suppliedExtension, extensionAuthorized. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read remaining, effectiveDue. Use the output convention below.
Add suppliedExtension to reviewDue only when extensionAuthorized, then return effectiveDue and remaining=effectiveDue-currentTime. Require nonnegative extension.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| reviewDue | Review Due | Required. Finite number. |
| currentTime | Current Time | Required. Finite number. |
| suppliedExtension | Supplied Extension | Required. Finite number; minimum 0. |
| extensionAuthorized | Extension Authorized | Required. Boolean. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| remaining | Remaining | Required. Finite number. |
| effectiveDue | Effective Due | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Authorization is a caller-provided flag, not verified authority. This does not determine an applicable review period, legal consent validity, safeguarding requirement, or professional assessment.
- The field tables state structural bounds; the mechanics also specify cross-field constraints. Malformed inputs and unsupported domains cause errors. A successful false flag, empty branch value, or zero placeholder has the meaning stated above and is distinct from an input error.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Signed zero is exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Check source records, case context, and the applicable professional or legal requirements before using these flags or margins for a service decision.
