Description
Report age of an explicitly supplied status record without determining permit validity.
Administrative service records use supplied time windows, counts, fees, and exception credits. Their arithmetic can show a gap or remaining balance while leaving evidence verification, legal rights, and the choice of an applicable service rule for separate review.
Report age of an explicitly supplied status record without determining permit validity.
When to use this tool
Use it for permit status age at cutoff when the required inputs and conventions are already available.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter statusAt, cutoff. Use the stated units and boundary conventions.
- Run the calculation. Correct any input error before interpreting a result.
- Read age, futureStatus. Inspect any known, defined, inclusion, or boundary flags before interpreting numeric values.
Return age=cutoff-statusAt and futureStatus when statusAt>cutoff using the supplied numeric time axis.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| statusAt | Status At | Required. Finite number. |
| cutoff | Cutoff | Required. Finite number. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| age | Age | Required. Finite number. |
| futureStatus | Future Status | Required. Boolean. |

"output": {

} Limitations and assumptions
- A future status produces a negative age. The tool does not order a status history, authenticate permit records, interpret permit validity, or infer calendar conventions.
- The field tables describe structural bounds; the mechanics also state cross-field requirements. Malformed input shapes, disallowed keys, and invalid domains cause input errors. Results must remain finite and within the declared output contract. A successful false flag or zero placeholder is distinct from an error.
- Numeric arithmetic uses binary floating point. Exact comparisons have no hidden tolerance or decimal rounding; negative zero is exported as zero. Decimal-text integer operations retain the exactness specifically stated above.
Alternative or Complementary methods
For permit status age at cutoff, check the source records and the supplied rule before comparing the result with another method. Consult the applicable authoritative rule when deciding eligibility, legal timing, fees, or obligations.
