Description
Return missing when observed is false.
Probabilities lie between zero and one, while likelihoods and logarithms depend on the event model and the logarithm base. A single event term requires the documented endpoint convention and does not establish the quality of a fitted model.
Return missing when observed is false.
When to use this tool
Use Event Indicator Missingness Label when you need one probability or likelihood component from supplied model values.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter observed, event. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read status. Use the output convention below.
Return missing when observed is false. Otherwise use event to choose observed-event or observed-nonevent.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| observed | Observed | Required. Boolean. |
| event | Event | Required. Boolean. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| status | Status under the explicitly supplied comparison or record convention. | Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
{
"input": {
"observed": true,
"event": false
},
"output": {
"status": "observed-nonevent"
}
} Limitations and assumptions
- The event flag is ignored for unobserved cases; no probability is estimated and missingness is not imputed as a nonevent.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Check the complete probabilistic model, event definitions, and aggregation rule before interpreting its score.
