Gait Video Event Frame Time

Locate an explicitly marked gait-video frame on a supplied constant-rate timeline without detecting gait events.

Description

Convert a zero-based gait-video event frame to a timestamp.

Rehabilitation records separate client priorities, scheduled attendance, assistance codes, video coordinates and exercise logs. A missed scheduled visit differs from an unscheduled day, and a frame timestamp assumes a frame-rate model. Local counts or offsets do not evaluate movement quality, recovery, safe exercise or appropriate care.

Convert a zero-based gait-video event frame to a timestamp.

When to use this tool

Use Gait Video Event Frame Time when you already have zeroBasedFrame, framesPerSecond, originSeconds and need to convert a zero-based gait-video event frame to a timestamp.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter zeroBasedFrame, framesPerSecond, originSeconds. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read eventSeconds. Use the output convention below.

Require safe whole frame>=0 and framesPerSecond>0; return originSeconds+frame/fps.1

Input fieldMeaning and unitsAccepted input
zeroBasedFrameZero is the supplied time origin; fractional frame indices are rejected.Required. Safe integer; minimum 0.
framesPerSecondFrames Per SecondRequired. Finite number; strictly above 0.
originSecondsOrigin SecondsRequired. Finite number.
Output fieldInterpretationReturned shape
eventSecondsEvent SecondsRequired. Finite number.

Limitations and assumptions

  • Assumes constant frame rate; no video event, gait feature, dropped frame or clinical finding is detected.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review the actual attendance schedule, movement recording and stated outcome instrument. For timing, use acquisition timestamps when frame rate varies; keep client priorities and exercise logs separate from a validated assessment of recovery.
