Marker Calibration Support Share Tool

Calculate marker calibration support share from explicit caller-supplied inputs.

Description

Sum all amounts and those satisfying all flags; return share=supportedMarkerAmount/totalMarkerAmount when positive, otherwise zero with defined=false.

Botanical laboratory records distinguish wet mass, dry matter, carriers, extract mass, and assay response. A fraction or reference comparison depends on the chosen material basis and supplied analytical method. Voucher and monograph metadata help identify records but do not themselves authenticate a specimen or establish product quality.

Sum all amounts and those satisfying all flags; return share=supportedMarkerAmount/totalMarkerAmount when positive, otherwise zero with defined=false.

When to use this tool

Use Marker Calibration Support Share when you need this mass-basis, assay-response, extraction, or source-record calculation for supplied laboratory data.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter markerAmounts, calibrationPresent, referenceCurrent, matrixMatched. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read totalMarkerAmount, supportedMarkerAmount, share, defined. Inspect defined before interpreting the associated values.

Require aligned nonnegative markerAmounts and calibrationPresent, referenceCurrent, and matrixMatched flags. Sum all amounts and those satisfying all flags; return share=supportedMarkerAmount/totalMarkerAmount when positive, otherwise zero with defined=false.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Marker amounts need a meaningful common weighting basis. Flags are trusted and a high support share does not validate analytical accuracy, identity, product quality, or efficacy.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Signed zero is exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use the appropriate authenticated reference material, analytical protocol, and source records for a full laboratory assessment. Verify moisture basis, response factors, and extract/carrier definitions before comparing results.
