Description
Express supplied age days as completed weeks and remaining days.
Pediatric records need clear age units, measurement position, reference-chart version, caregiver identity and sample-volume basis. Offered-minus-residual volume differs from verified consumption, and a size label does not select a suitable device. Recording these values does not assess growth, developmental state, nutrition or appropriate clinical care.
Express supplied age days as completed weeks and remaining days.
When to use this tool
Use Pediatric Age Completed Week Label when you already have ageDays and need to express supplied age days as completed weeks and remaining days.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter ageDays. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read completedWeeks, remainingDays, label. Use the output convention below.
Require nonnegative safe whole ageDays; return floor(days/7), days%7 and a weeks/days label.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| ageDays | Already supplied nonnegative whole days; no birthdate or gestational correction is applied. | Required. Safe integer; minimum 0. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| completedWeeks | Completed Weeks | Required. Safe integer. |
| remainingDays | Remaining Days | Required. Safe integer. |
| label | Label | Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Age is supplied rather than derived from birth; no gestational adjustment, developmental assessment or clinical milestone is inferred.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Consult the original sample, measurement-position and reference-chart records before combining pediatric data. Keep supplied age units, offered/residual volumes and caregiver roles explicit; local conversions and labels do not provide a growth or nutrition assessment.
