Description
Sum abs(load)*duration into absoluteLoadTime and visible contributions into visibleLoadTime; return their share when positive, otherwise zero with defined=false.
Orthopedic bench and imaging records combine force, displacement, geometric dimensions, coordinate frames, weights, and reference measurements. An ideal material term or dimensional margin depends on its model and units. It does not by itself establish implant compatibility, tissue behavior, or safe clinical loading.
Sum abs(load)*duration into absoluteLoadTime and visible contributions into visibleLoadTime; return their share when positive, otherwise zero with defined=false.
When to use this tool
Use Load Cycle Visible Share when you need this bench, geometry, reference, score-denominator, or measurement term from supplied data.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter cycleLoads, cycleDurations, visible. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read absoluteLoadTime, visibleLoadTime, share, defined. Inspect defined before interpreting the associated values.
Require aligned cycleLoads, nonnegative cycleDurations, and visible flags. Sum abs(load)*duration into absoluteLoadTime and visible contributions into visibleLoadTime; return their share when positive, otherwise zero with defined=false.1

} Limitations and assumptions
- This is magnitude-time weighted visibility, not a signed impulse or mechanical work. Durations and flags are supplied, overlaps are not resolved, and visibility does not establish safe loading or study validity.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Signed zero is exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use a complete material, imaging, or assessment model for the intended question. Verify measurement units, calibration, load conditions, geometry, missingness, and reference assumptions before combining terms.
