Description
Explicit research assessment denominator policy; no clinical positive outcome or statistical missingness mechanism is inferred.
Research lesion records distinguish measured dimensions, geometric size models, censoring conventions, assessment denominators, and follow-up timing. An axis product, percent change, or coverage measure describes only its stated inputs and model. Such arithmetic does not automatically implement a clinical response criterion or validate a study.
Explicit research assessment denominator policy; no clinical positive outcome or statistical missingness mechanism is inferred.
When to use this tool
Use Oncology Study Missing Assessment Denominator when you need this research measurement, assessment-base, source, or event-time calculation.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter scheduled, assessed, unevaluable, positive, excludeUnevaluable. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read analysisDenominator, positiveFraction, assessedFraction. Use the output convention below.
Require integer scheduled>=1, assessed within 1..scheduled, unevaluable within 0..assessed-1, and positive<=assessed-unevaluable. Choose analysisDenominator=assessed-unevaluable if excludeUnevaluable, otherwise scheduled. Return positiveFraction and assessedFraction=assessed/scheduled.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| scheduled | Scheduled | Required. Safe integer; minimum 1. |
| assessed | Assessed | Required. Safe integer; minimum 1. |
| unevaluable | Unevaluable | Required. Safe integer; minimum 0. |
| positive | Positive | Required. Safe integer; minimum 0. |
| excludeUnevaluable | Exclude Unevaluable | Required. Boolean. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| analysisDenominator | Evaluable assessed count when excluding; otherwise all scheduled assessments. | Required. Safe integer. |
| positiveFraction | Positive Fraction | Required. Finite number. |
| assessedFraction | Assessed Fraction | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- The false branch uses all scheduled assessments, not all assessed records. This supplied denominator policy does not infer missing/unevaluable outcomes or implement a complete trial estimand, response criterion, or clinical assessment.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use the intended study protocol and a complete measurement or analysis model for a broader conclusion. Verify lesion definitions, censoring, measurement correspondence, time anchors, and missing-assessment policy.
