Description

Compare explicit research task inventories, retaining extra observations rather than assuming care adequacy.

Care and training records use task identifiers, source labels, counts, time intervals, observations, and accounting bases. Documentation support, actual delivery, and clinical quality are different questions. A local record rule or budget should be interpreted according to its explicit inclusion and denominator conventions.

Compare explicit research task inventories, retaining extra observations rather than assuming care adequacy.

When to use this tool

Use Research Care Task Gap when you need this care-record, observation, training, supply, time, or accounting component.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter plannedTaskIds, observedTaskIds, cancelledTaskIds. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read eligibleTasks, observedTasks, missedTasks, extraObservedTasks. Use the output convention below.

Deduplicate plannedTaskIds and remove cancelledTaskIds. Count eligible IDs also observed, return missedTasks as the difference, and extraObservedTasks as distinct observed IDs outside the eligible planned set.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Observed cancelled tasks therefore count as extra. Exact ID membership is not verification that care occurred, its quality, a complete care plan, or an appropriate clinical task list.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use authenticated records and the intended care, inventory, or training protocol for a full assessment. Verify source support, counting rules, time bases, and any contractual or consent conditions independently.
