Description

Add attendedMinutes and, conditionally, remoteMinutes for creditedMinutes.

Support indicators describe which recorded observations meet stated completeness or eligibility conditions. Duration-weighted support and distinct-record support use different denominators.

Add attendedMinutes and, conditionally, remoteMinutes for creditedMinutes.

When to use this tool

Use Support Contact Window Base Token when you need a transparent supported fraction from supplied flags.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter scheduledMinutes, attendedMinutes, remoteMinutes, includeRemote. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read creditedMinutes, attendanceFraction, defined. Inspect defined before interpreting the associated values.

Add attendedMinutes and, conditionally, remoteMinutes for creditedMinutes. Require nonnegative components whose sum does not exceed scheduledMinutes; divide credited time by a positive schedule.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Zero scheduled time gives attendanceFraction zero and defined false; this administrative measure does not evaluate quality of care.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Inspect missing and excluded records separately and verify the evidence behind each support flag.
