Description
Divide nonnegative observedRecallDuration by positive requestedRecallDuration.
A share divides an included amount by a declared total. An empty total is mathematically different from an observed zero share and may require an explicit availability flag.
Divide nonnegative observedRecallDuration by positive requestedRecallDuration.
When to use this tool
Use Questionnaire Recall Duration Share when you need a proportion with a clearly defined denominator.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter observedRecallDuration, requestedRecallDuration. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read share. Use the output convention below.
Divide nonnegative observedRecallDuration by positive requestedRecallDuration.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| observedRecallDuration | Observed Recall Duration | Required. Finite number; minimum 0. |
| requestedRecallDuration | Requested Recall Duration | Required. Finite number; strictly above 0. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| share | Dimensionless fraction under the stated denominator policy. | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Use matching duration units; shares above one are allowed and do not establish questionnaire validity.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
