Description

Mark rerun for a strictly later date and label it later airing or original-date airing.

Media records preserve supplied credits, ownership labels, publication dates, corrections, and source details. A formatted record or elapsed-time calculation does not verify the underlying claim or grant reuse rights.

Mark rerun for a strictly later date and label it later airing or original-date airing.

When to use this tool

Use Program Rerun Status Label when you need a consistent media-record component under an explicit source and time convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter programId, originalAirDate, currentAirDate. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read rerun, label. Inspect rerun before interpreting the associated values.

Require nonempty programId, parse real air dates, and reject a current date before the original. Mark rerun for a strictly later date and label it later airing or original-date airing.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • A same-day repeat is not distinguished; dates alone do not verify program identity, edit differences, broadcast rights, or actual rerun status.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Check the original publication, source evidence, and applicable editorial or rights policy separately.
