Broadcast Source Live Recorded Tag

Label an explicitly reported broadcast source mode without inferring liveness from media content.

Description

Label whether a broadcast source is recorded as live, recorded, mixed or unknown.

Media records distinguish credited roles, permission labels, source versions, viewing-time overlap and platform rating scales. Simultaneous exposure must be counted once for union time, while normalized ratings remain positions on supplied scales. A recorded production or publication label does not verify authenticity, attention or rights.

Label whether a broadcast source is recorded as live, recorded, mixed or unknown.

When to use this tool

Use Broadcast Source Live Recorded Tag when you already have itemId, sourceMode and need to label whether a broadcast source is recorded as live, recorded, mixed or unknown.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter itemId, sourceMode. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read label. Use the output convention below.

Require itemId nonempty and an allowed sourceMode; format ID [mode].1

Limitations and assumptions

  • No broadcast, timestamp, authenticity or actual production mode is verified.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Inspect the original program, source record, credit and permission documentation when attribution or publication matters. Use the complete diary or rating methodology for audience analysis, preserving overlap, scale and denominator definitions.
