Description
Return scale / (1 + (halfSaturation / spend)^exponent) for positive spend, halfSaturation, and exponent, with nonnegative scale.
Lift compares an observed outcome with a reference, while a response curve describes an assumed relationship. Neither arithmetic difference alone establishes causal impact.
Return scale / (1 + (halfSaturation / spend)^exponent) for positive spend, halfSaturation, and exponent, with nonnegative scale.
When to use this tool
Use Marketing Mix One Channel Response Term when you need a supplied uplift or response-curve term.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter spend, scale, halfSaturation, exponent. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read response. Use the output convention below.
Return scale / (1 + (halfSaturation / spend)^exponent) for positive spend, halfSaturation, and exponent, with nonnegative scale.1

} Limitations and assumptions
- This is a supplied one-channel saturation curve without fitted parameters, adstock, interaction, causal identification, or uncertainty.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
