Description

Sum nonnegative attendeeHourlyRates, multiply by durationMinutes / 60 for laborCost, and add fixedCost.

A cost term combines quantities with rates on a consistent currency and time basis. A supplied multiplier or reimbursement changes accounting without determining an entitlement or market price.

Sum nonnegative attendeeHourlyRates, multiply by durationMinutes / 60 for laborCost, and add fixedCost.

When to use this tool

Use Meeting Cost Attendee Minute Term when you need an explicit labor, time, or project-cost component.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter attendeeHourlyRates, durationMinutes, fixedCost. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read laborCost, totalCost. Use the output convention below.

Sum nonnegative attendeeHourlyRates, multiply by durationMinutes / 60 for laborCost, and add fixedCost.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Use one currency and assume all attendees remain for the full meeting; benefits, opportunity costs, and differing attendance durations are omitted.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Reconcile the full cost model and relevant contractual or payroll policy before treating a component as a final charge.
